On April 13th, 2001 a symposium took place in Zagreb, where Tihomir Milovac, Branka Stipancic, Helena Demakova, Sirje Helme,  Anders Kreuger,  Annemarie Türk participated.

Estonia was represented by Ene-Liis Semper and Marko Laimre. Ene-Liis Semper was also invited (with her video “FF/REW”) to the International Exhibition in the Italian Pavillion, curated by Harald Szeemann.

THE 1st NORDIC-BALTIC PAINTING BIENNIAL

Väsby Konsthall, Sweden; 25. 01. – 1. 04. 2001

Participating countries: Estonia, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Works by 61 artists were presented.

Estonia was represented by Jaan Elken, Ado Lill, Kaido Ole, Tiit Pääsuke and Andres Tolts.
