Borderlives in Aachen

An international group exposition “Borderlives. Zeitgenössische Kunst aus Helsinki, St. Petersburg und Tallinn / Contemporary Art from Helsinki, St. Petersburg and Tallinn” is open to public in Aachen, Ludwig Forum from 15.03.–01.06.2008.Curators Ritva Röminger-Czako and Andreas Wovinckel have chosen five artists from Tallinn for the show, including Marco Laimre, Marko Mäetamm, Mark Raidpere, Ene-Liis Semper and Jaan Toomik. The exhibition also displays the works of Veli Granö, Jaakko Heikkilä, Tea Mäkipää, Anu Pennanen, Minna Rainio / Mark Roberts, Vesa Ranta (Helsinki), Ludmila Belova, Vladimir Bystrov, Philipp Dontsov, Dmitry Shubin ja Dmitry Vilensky (St. Petersburg).

A catalogue accompanies the exhibition; catalogue materials from Tallinn are put together in the Center For Contemporary Arts, Estonia. Texts are by Johannes Saar, Andreas Trossek, Maria-Kristiina Soomre, Eero Epner and Marko Mäetamm.
