Visible Solutions LTD in Cēsis

Contemporary art exhibition “Take Care” will be opened at the Cēsis Old Brewery at 18 hours on July 23, which is the opening day of the Festival. This year’s exhibition will feature works by artists from all three Baltic countries, presenting a wider overview of the current art trends in the Baltic region. The concept of the show entitled Take Care is rooted in an attempt to define the relationship between the artist and the society.

Estonia is represented at the exhibition by Visual Solutions LTD. Visible Solutions is a young innovative creative company that has been created by three young artists and creative entrepreneurs, Taaniel Raudsepp, Sigrid Viir and Karel Koplimets. The foundation of the company was motivated by the official estonian cultural policy that directs creative individuals towards entrepreneurship and marketability. Visible Solutions is trying to discover new methods for creating and converting symbolic and monetary capital.

The Latvian art will be represented by Andris Breže, Katrīna Neiburga, Ģirts Muižnieks, Anda Lāce, Valts Kleins, Kristaps Ģelzis and Gints Gabrāns, The Lithuanian curator Virginija Januškevičiūtė will join a group of young artists – Elva Olafsdottir, Laura Kaminskaitė, Agata Erlacher, Dalia Dudėnaitė, Juozas Laivys and Tomas Daniliauskas – to create a non-functional architectonic interactive installation which will involve the viewer in the process of exploring new space. The exhibition will run through 15 August.

Cēsis Art Festival is taking place for the forth summer in turn this year. Art, theatre, cinema events and unique musical programme will be presented t throughout the three weeks of the festival’s run. The festival will gain a wider resonance with its Care to Create international conference dedicated to the current trends in contemporary music and art; the list of participants will include professional artists and academic musicians from Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, France, Iceland and Russia.
